Hosting with Stormhill Media Includes
$35/month
Stormhill Media are resellers for a major web hosting company which specializes in hosting WordPress websites.
When you host with us you can expect:
- Free WordPress Site Migration ($200 value)
- Daily Backups with simple backup restore from any point in the last 30 days.
- Firewall: Multiple, powerful firewalls between your data and threats.
- Malware scan: Proactive detection and elimination of malware.
- Evercache: Proprietary caching technology for massive scalability and speed.
- Content Delivery Network (CDN): Blazingly fast load times for globally accessed content.
- 1 Click Staging: If you need work done on your website it is simple for us to create a copy of your site for development and simple for us to move the changes back to the live website when the changes are ready.
In a nutshell what this means for you:
- Speed – State-of-the-art caching technology that is customized for Wordpress means that your website will load much faster. This also includes a CDN (content delivery network) which means that key files of your website are stored on many servers in a network and delivered from the nearest server to the person looking up your website on their browser. Most large company websites use CDNs.
- Security- with us, using a top notch web hosting company, you are much more protected – including ongoing malware scanning of your site.
website backups – you will automatically have daily backups – which helps with security as well. Backups can be restored with the push of a button in the event that something breaks on the website. - Stability – rarely does the server go down and when it does there are scores of people who will work on it.
- Simplifies future additions to your website – We can create a copy of your site through a staging site with the touch of a button and make changes without ever touching your live site. When finished with the changes we push another button and all the changes are moved back to the live website. Since this saves us time in development we can bill less on hourly projects.
Maintenance Updates Included
In addition to what the hosting service provides, Stormhill Media hosting package will also include monthly updates when needed:
- Wordpress Plugin and Core Code Updates are done monthly –This is not automatically done by the hosting server. We check what should or should not be updated and after making the update, then we go back and and check your website to make sure all is working correctly.
How Our Pricing Works
Every website we create is unique to each client’s brand, so the pricing for each project is determined by the estimated time it will take to complete it.
When we give you an estimated price range, the low end is how much the project will cost if everything goes smoothly. The high end is the price cut-off, meaning even if there are setbacks along the way, this is the most you will pay for the agreed project.
Common setbacks include adding unique custom features to the website, creating custom graphics, coding features from scratch, ecommerce functionality, and additional time spent in discussions with the client to refine the website design. These components can be necessary steps in the process for our customers, which is why we include them in our estimates.
